On the morning of April 22, 2025, the People’s Committee of Di An City (Binh Duong province) held a ceremony to announce the decision to approve the adjusted master plan at a 1/10,000 scale until 2045. Attending the event, representatives of TBS Group, along with several other businesses and investors, signed cooperation agreements to promote socio-economic development with Di An City.

The Master Plan for 3 Development Zones and 5 Urban Areas
According to the decision approved by the Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee, the planning area covers the entire natural area of Di An City, which is over 6,010 hectares. The city is characterized as a Service – Education – Industrial urban area, a university urban center, and a regional transportation hub. The plan emphasizes the development of high-tech industries.
Regarding the urban spatial organization, Di An will be divided into three development zones:The Urban Area East of the North-South Railway will serve as the political, cultural, social, and commercial center of Di An City, with the urban center and Ho Chi Minh City National University as its core; The Urban Area West of the North-South Railway will be developed in connection with regional transportation hubs, with the An Binh junction station as its core; The Urban Area North of the Ho Chi Minh City – Loc Ninh and Trang Bom – Hoa Hung Railways will focus on developing commercial and service centers, tourism services, and multi-functional residential areas based on the TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) model along the My Phuoc Tan Van route and urban railway. Commercial centers will serve as the core of this zone. Regarding urban areas, Di An City’s plan is to zone five urban areas in the wards of Di An, An Binh, Dong Hoa, Binh An, and Tan Dong Hiep.
According to Mr. Vo Van Hong, Chairman of the Di An City People’s Committee, the city will focus on implementing the plan by executing projects outlined in the master plan, including prioritizing and phasing investments and allocating resources to ensure the plan’s realization.
Along with adjustments to accommodate the merger of localities, the master plan for Di An City, announced today, is expected to resolve bottlenecks, maximize advantages and potential, and open up new development spaces for Di An within the broader context of Binh Duong province and the future Ho Chi Minh City megacity.
