On the morning of September 14, 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong Province organized a launching ceremony to call for support for people affected by Typhoon No. 3 (also known as Typhoon Yagi). The event was attended by provincial leaders, hundreds of officials, civil servants, employees, and the local business community. Responding to the call, TBS Group contributed VND 2 billion to support people suffering from the damages caused by the storm and subsequent flash floods.
In addition, TBS Group launched an internal campaign calling on all employees across the system to promote the spirit of solidarity and mutual support. The initiative successfully raised a total of VND 10 billion to assist in recovery efforts in localities where TBS factories and offices are located.
Typhoon Yagi caused severe devastation in many northern provinces of Vietnam: homes were swept away, entire villages were nearly wiped out, and hundreds of hectares of rice fields and crops were buried. The pain and losses endured by local communities are immense. TBS Group hopes to contribute part of its strength to support relief activities, aid recovery from the storm’s aftermath, and help people quickly stabilize their lives.
TBS Group strongly believes that with the solidarity and support of the entire community, the northern region will soon overcome the consequences, get through these challenging days, and return to normal life.
