In May 2024, the TBS Group grassroots Trade Union successfully organized a series of programs to celebrate Workers’ Month 2024 with lively activities that were enthusiastically embraced by a large number of employees. The program not only created a forum for interaction but also an opportunity to build and foster solidarity among all employees within the group.

TBS Group 2024 Competition & Sports Festival: Collective Strength Fostered by a Spirit of Sportsmanship

Building a corporate culture is one of TBS Group’s strategic goals for 2024. Artistic, cultural, and sports activities play a crucial role in enhancing employees’ spiritual lives, nurturing a spirit of solidarity and unity, and creating a healthy work environment. Embracing these values and in response to the “Workers’ Month 2024” movement, celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2024), and implementing the 2024 Employee Care action plan, the TBS Group Trade Union Executive Committee successfully organized a “Competition & Sports Festival” with many vibrant and meaningful activities:

• “The Voice of TBS Group Workers 2024” Karaoke Competition: A place to showcase musical talent, artistic passion, and solidarity through songs that convey messages of love for the homeland and country, love for labor, and pride in the TBS Group collective.
• Sports Festival with various activities: Tug-of-war, sack race, and relay race. These created a dramatic playing field, arousing a spirit of noble sportsmanship, unity, a will to win, and a spirit of dedication to the team among the “athletes.”

The TBS Group 2024 Competition & Sports Festival attracted a large number of employees from various departments, chains, and sectors across the group. Every individual and team eagerly practiced and competed, dedicating their full talent and confidence to create impressive and exciting performances and competitions.

In addition to the glorious victories, the enthusiastic support of the “fans” contributed significantly to the success of the TBS Group 2024 Competition & Sports Festival. The resounding cheers, encouragement, and warm applause motivated the athletes to give their all, creating a vibrant, bustling atmosphere filled with laughter. Most importantly, this was a clear testament to the unified spirit of the employees for the group’s collective activities.

TBS Group 2024 Competition & Sports Festival: Connecting and Appreciating Employees

The TBS Group 2024 Competition & Sports Festival was not just a competition but also an opportunity for employees to interact, learn, share experiences, and strengthen internal solidarity. Furthermore, recreational activities helped improve the mental and physical health of the employees, thereby enhancing productivity and work efficiency.

The TBS Group 2024 Competition & Sports Festival concluded successfully, leaving an indelible impression on every employee. More than just prizes, the festival provided employees with valuable lessons about the spirit of solidarity, the will to win, and selfless dedication to the collective.

In parallel with the activities organized within the “Competition & Sports Festival,” the TBS Group grassroots Trade Union also celebrated Workers’ Month 2024 with many meaningful and practical activities for disadvantaged employees, such as:

• Organizing appreciation events and giving gifts to 190 employees with exceptionally difficult circumstances, with each gift being 1 million VND in cash.
• Holding a ceremony to admit new union members and completing the documentation to admit 14 outstanding union members into the Party.
• Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health: Organizing training and propagation on occupational safety and health, first aid training, and first aid for employees with hypertension for a team of 354 safety and health officers.

Collaborating with the Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union, the Di An City Military Command, and the Tra Vinh Labor Federation to build three “Great Unity” houses and “Workers’ Homes.”

The Workers’ Month 2024 program left a deep mark, adding to the tapestry of TBS Group’s corporate culture. The meaningful and practical activities demonstrated the leadership’s profound care for the spiritual lives of employees, especially those facing difficult circumstances. This is an important prerequisite for TBS Group to build a solid foundation for future development.

Furthermore, the program series also awakened a spirit of solidarity and dedication among all employees, helping to motivate them to excel in their assigned tasks and together propel TBS Group even further.
