Exchange and awareness-raising event on maritime sovereignty between Naval Region 2 Command and TBS Group Staff

On December 11, 2023, at warehouse office 6 of TBS Logistics, officers and soldiers of the Naval Region 2 Command (BTL V2HQ) held an exchange and public awareness session on marine and island sovereignty with TBS Group employees.

Exchange and Communication on Maritime Sovereignty between Naval Region 2 Command and TBS Group

The program was organized in response to a campaign celebrating the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944 – December 22, 2023) and the 34th anniversary of the All-People’s Defense Festival (December 22, 1989 – December 22, 2023).

From BTL V2HQ, the event was attended by Rear Admiral Nguyen Anh Tuan, Commander; Colonel Le Ba Quan, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff; Colonel Do Hong Duyen, Head of Political Affairs; along with other senior leaders, officers, and soldiers. Distinguished guests included Mr. Huynh Tan Dat, Director of Le Huynh Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. and Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Protection of Nature and Environment; and Ms. Vo Thi Kim Yen, a reporter for Vietnam Economic Times and also Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Protection of Nature and Environment.

Welcoming the BTL V2HQ delegation from TBS Group were Ms. Nguyen Thi Vui, Secretary of the Company’s Party Committee, Deputy General Director of TBS Group, and General Director of TBS Logistics; Mr. Le Manh Ha, Operations Director of TBS Logistics; and over 100 employees from TBS Logistics – TBS Group.

Nguyễn Thị Vui expressed the close relationship between TBS Group and the Vietnam People’s Army.

In her opening remarks, Ms. Nguyen Thi Vui shared the efforts of TBS Group and TBS Logistics over the past few years. Despite the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and global economic fluctuations, the Group has managed to maintain production and employment for tens of thousands of workers. TBS also prioritizes retaining talented individuals and continuously provides training to prepare for a breakthrough when the economy recovers, creating new opportunities. Ms. Nguyen Thi Vui also expressed the close relationship between TBS Group and the Vietnam People’s Army, which stems from a corporate culture founded by former soldiers.

Colonel Đỗ Hồng Duyên shared information about Vietnam’s maritime sovereignty.

During the exchange, Colonel Do Hong Duyen shared valuable information about Vietnam’s recent marine and island sovereignty issues, as well as potential future developments. Colonel Le Ba Quan also highlighted some of the achievements of BTL V2HQ, demonstrating a resilient spirit and readiness to sacrifice to protect the nation’s territorial sovereignty. The Colonel also expressed his gratitude to the Party and State, the people, and businesses like TBS Group for their significant contributions to the national defense and security forces who tirelessly protect Vietnam’s sacred seas, islands, and continental shelf.

Colonel Lê Bá Quân expressed his appreciation for the support of the Party, the State, the people’s government, and businesses such as TBS Group.

Through the exchange, TBS Group had the opportunity to share more information about the Group and was honored to receive a gift from BTL V2HQ: two Barringtonia trees, which were planted in the grounds of warehouses 6, 7, and 8, part of TBS Logistics’ new and modern warehouse system.

Through the exchange event, TBS Group had the honor of receiving a gift from Naval Region 2 Command: two square-fruited terminalia trees, which were planted in the courtyard of the new modern warehouse of TBS Logistics.

The exchange concluded with both parties setting a goal to expand future exchange programs to help young soldiers and TBS Group employees learn more about the political situation. This is aimed at strengthening the relationship between TBS Group and the national security forces, while working together toward the common goal of building and protecting Vietnam.
