In 2021, TBS Group faced another year of significant difficulties and challenges, which provided valuable lessons. By leveraging its foundational strengths, the group still achieved many proud accomplishments: maintaining production, protecting employee health, and fulfilling its community responsibilities.
Proactive Pandemic Prevention in All Phases
In 2021, COVID-19 saw the emergence of new, more dangerous variants with a rapid spread. The outbreak of the Delta variant forced many Asian countries, including Vietnam, to implement the most stringent preventive measures.
As soon as the outbreak began to escalate in late April 2021, TBS Group established a Steering Committee for Disease Prevention. It immediately implemented preventive protocols, quickly quarantined affected areas, conducted widespread testing, and organized large-scale drills. Disease prevention efforts were heavily promoted across the group through various communication channels, with the goal of raising awareness and a sense of responsibility among all employees.
During the social distancing period, TBS factories in the southern region had to switch to a “three on-site” production model. The leadership and all employees persevered in pursuit of a dual objective: maintaining production while fighting the pandemic. Despite immense pressure and a heavy workload, these efforts enabled TBS to continue business operations and ensure employment for its workers. This became a solid foundation for a swift recovery and a return to production under the new normal.
Guided by the principle “Safe production is the only production,” TBS Group was one of the pioneering businesses in Binh Duong province to accelerate vaccinations. It coordinated with provincial health departments to organize vaccinations for its employees as early as possible.

Additionally, TBS Group made significant community contributions throughout the year. Despite the company’s own challenges, TBS Group actively supported frontline pandemic efforts through various practical initiatives, such as:
