On July 10th, 2024 in Ho Chi Minh city, TBS Group successfully hosted the “TBS Vendor Summit 2024” with the participation of leading partners in the industrial manufacturing sector and TBSGroup’s leaders.
TBS Group, established in 1989 with an initial workforce of 1,200 employees, has grown over the past 35 years to become one of the top 5 fashion industrial manufacturing groups in Vietnam’s footwear industry, now employing over 50,000 workers. TBS Group has expanded into various fields, including the production of handbags, backpacks, residential real estate, logistics, and the distribution of fashion products.
The success of TBS Group is attributed not only to the efforts of its employees but also to the sincere cooperation and support from various stakeholders, especially suppliers. This summit aims to help TBS Group’s suppliers, and the Vietnamese footwear and handbag industry in general, secure an increasingly strong position by connecting vital links in the fashion industry’s supply chain.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan, Chairman of TBS Group, shared his business philosophy, rooted in the integrity of a soldier, emphasizing that promises made are promises kept. During the past years, TBS Group continuously strengthened its organizational foundation to balance the interests of stakeholders and meet customer needs.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan also highlighted the importance of supply chain transparency to shorten negotiation times, enhance mutual trust among partners, promptly serve customers, and improve the company’s competitiveness.
By this summit, TBS Group hopes to show its commitment to partner with all suppliers to collaboratively build a sustainable supply chain in the fashion industrial manufacturing sector.
