On the morning of August 18, 2024, the 21st TBS Group Study Encouragement Scholarship Award Ceremony took place at three complexes/plants: the Eastern Region, My Phong (Tra Vinh), and Kien Giang, granting scholarships to more than 1.206 students who are children of TBS Group employees.
Attending the 21st TBS Group Scholarship Ceremony for the academic year 2023 – 2024 were representatives of TBS Group’s leadership at the factory complexes, representatives of the grassroots Trade Union Executive Committee, as well as distinguished guests including leaders from local authorities and representatives of the labor federations in Binh Duong, Kien Giang, and Tra Vinh.
The awarding of the TBS Group Study Encouragement Scholarship is an annual activity jointly organized by the Trade Union Executive Committee and the management of the factories/complexes, with the aim of encouraging and motivating the children of TBS Group employees who have achieved outstanding academic results.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Đao Tran Đong, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Inspection Committee of the Binh Duong Labor Federation, highly appreciated the practical significance of the program. He emphasized that the TBS Group Study Encouragement Scholarship is a meaningful gift that inspires students to continuously strive to become exemplary citizens, worthy of being the future owners of the country.
The representative of the Binh Duong Labor Federation, Mr. Dao Tran Dong – Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Inspection Committee of the Binh Duong Labor Federation – highly appreciated the practical significance of the TBS Group Study Encouragement Fund.
In 2024, TBS Group decided to award study encouragement scholarships to 8.619 students, with a total value of more than 8.4 billion VND. Of these, 3.459 scholarships were granted to primary school students; 2.734 to lower secondary school students; 1.250 to high school students; 1.088 to university students; and 88 to students who achieved prizes in district-level academic competitions. “Throughout 35 years of establishment and development, TBS Group has not only focused on business operations but has also actively engaged in community activities at the local level. The annual scholarship fund is a clear testament to our commitment to supporting workers in particular and serving the interests of the people in general,” shared Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Trade Union at TBS Group.

Awarding scholarships to students is one of the meaningful traditional activities of the TBS Group Scholarship Fund. The program not only motivates students to strive harder but also encourages employees to work with peace of mind and continue accompanying the Group in its shared mission.
On this occasion, the TBS Kien Giang Complex also donated 50 million VND to the People’s Committee of Thanh Loc Commune (Chau Thanh) for the construction of a rural traffic bridge, contributing alongside the local government to effectively implement social welfare programs and the new rural development initiative.
Scholarship awarding is not only an act of sharing but also a bridge of love between generations. Over the past 21 years, the TBS Group Scholarship Fund has continuously grown, becoming a living testament to the Group’s humanitarian tradition. Each scholarship granted is a message of trust, nurturing the dreams and aspirations of the young generation, while reaffirming TBS Group’s responsibility to the community.
